Fantasy Basketball uses a lot of terminology and abbreviations and sometimes it can get confusing. To make matters worse, Head-To-Head and Rotisserie leagues use different scoring, so they have different numbers to analyze! Have no fear, use our guide to help you out!
Rotisserie -
FGM/FGA – Field Goals Made/Field Goals Attempted – This is the raw numbers from a game or time period on how many field goals the player has attempted and how many they have made.
FG% – Field Goal Percentage. This is determined by dividing field goals made by field goals attempted (FGM/FGA) This stat is often used in fantasy basketball scoring. Centers and Forwards will usually have a higher FG% than guards because they play closer to the basket and have more layups and slam dunks.
FTM/FTA – Free Throws Made/Free Throws Attempted -Raw numbers from the free throw line.
